Orlando is a private florist and we work only by appointment, we specialise in event and corporate flower design and are known for our design of innovative and exciting floral themes.

From your first call we will guide you effortlessly through the maze of options available, using both our international and local experience. We have a reputation for creating designs that range from intimate settings to large scale international events.

Our team comprises of internationally and locally trained designers giving you over 30+ years of experience, therefore we can provide you with the time and expertise you deserve.

Susan Christensen is the head designer and founder of Orlando, after beginning her floral career in New Zealand she travelled and designed in both the United States and Europe.

Susan settled in London and designed for Kenneth Turner of Mayfair. During her years there she had the opportunity to create flowers for European Royalty, Film Stars and London's high society.

Under the auspices of Kenneth Turner she travelled and created floral designs in such places as Monaco, Paris, and Capri. Once she returned to New Zealand she founded Orlando to share her love of flowers.

It is related to England's Bloomsbury period and the old world of beauty as described by poets and authors in the 18th century.
